Southern California wild fires
The fires are so bad! I live next to the Santiago fire. Sunday night, the wind was blowing our way. Power went out briefly and the air was almost unbreathable. The smell of smoke and ashes got into our apartment. We were on the voluntary evacuation list. Fortunately the wind shifted and we haven't been in danger since. My aunt in San Diego sold her house over the weekend. It was hilarious (although I shouldn't laugh), because as soon as she handed the keys to the new owner, the fire authorities came over and told everyone to evacuation.
